SULPHUR-AGGREGATE CONCRETE,
CIVIL ENGINEERING-ASCE, by John M. Dale and Allen C. Ludwig, December 1967, 9 pages.

Elemental sulphur is normally thought of as a chemical feed-stock Yet civil engineers have used it for many years, alone and in combination with fillers such as sand for the placing of anchor bolts, the capping of concrete compressive test specimens, and many other applications. All of these uses attest to the structural integrity of sulphur as a binder material.

Under the sponsorship of the Air Force Weapons Laboratory, Research and Technology Division of the Air Force Systems Command, Southwest Research Institute has studied the use of sulphur-aggregate mixtures as a structural material.
