THEORY FOR THE ULTIMATE STRENGTH DESIGN
OF HOLLOW CIRCULAR REINFORCED CONCRETE SECTIONS, Ultimate strength theory is presented for the analysis and design of reinforced concrete hollow circular sections. The equations are applicable to the case when the stresses over the pier cross-section are wholly compressive. The equations have been prepared for computer solution and data generated for the preparation of design charts. Four design charts for mild to hard grade steels are included for the simplification of the design procedure. |
